DONOT OPERATE ANy FUNCTIONS ONTHIS UNIT FOR ATLEAST _OR

UNIT STAND WITH POWER ON (SEE BELOW),
WHAT IS MOISTURE CONDENSATION?
When a coldliquid ispoured intoa glass, for exammple,watervapor inthe air will
condense on the surfaceof the_less. This iscalled moisture cOndensation.
MOIETURE WiLL CONDENSE ON THE UNIT IN THE FOLLOWING CASES;
• When you move the unit froma cold to a warm place.
Afterheating acold room or underextremely humidconditions.
WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE THE ABOVE CONDITIONS,
Plugthe power cord into an AC outlet, set the POWER switchto ON and leave the
unitat tcom temperature until moisture condensation disappears,
Dependingon the surroundingconditions,this may take two or three hours.

Ifyou cause astaticdischarge when touching the _
unit,and the unit fails to function, simplyunplug the
unitfrom the wall ouitet, wait afew minutes, and
p;ugit beck in.The unit should returntonormal

blockor cover theseholes. Especially avoid
coveringthe hotes wi_ soft materials such ascloth
--De not insertfingers or any other objectsintothe

directlyon the unit or use forced air to removedust.
_Avoid placessubject to strong vibration. Use in a
horizontet(flat) I_ition only.
f_Keep the unitaway from flower vases, sinks,etc. If
tiquids shouldbe spilled intothe unff, serous
damage will result. Ifyouspill any liquidsintothe
unit,unplug the AC power cord immediately and
cortsultqualifiedservice personnel before attempting
touse itagain. .._

the cassette and turnoffthe power.
When you leave your home for a longtime, unplug

2. If the pelerized AC cord does notfit into a non-polarfzedAC

3. If you cause a static dischargewhen touching the unit,and the
unitfails to function, simplyunplugthe unit,fromthe AC outlet,
waitan hour, and plug itback in. The unit should rotum to ncrmal
operation.
