Adjusting the Image Brightness [THEATER POSITION] | DVD |

You can adjust the image brightness so it best suits the lighting in the room where the video is being played.
•You can perform these operations from the remote control.
•For DVD Audio discs, you can only adjust the image brightness if the disc includes video images. For discs that only include still pictures, or do not include any pictures, is displayed.
■While a disc is playing
1Press [THEATER POSITION] to select the image brightness. The THEATER POSITION display appears.

Each press of the button changes the THEATER POSITION as shown below.

The on screen display goes out.
• If you do not perform any operations for five seconds or more, the display automatically goes out.

You can display fs (sampling frequency) and bit rate information while a disc is playing.
• You can perform these operations from the remote control.
■While a disc is playing 1 Press [fs/RATE].
The fs (sampling frequency) and bit rate information for each audio channel stored on the disc and the number of quantized bits is displayed. Five seconds later the display returns to normal.
