Basic operation through the on- screen bar

1 Press ON SCREEN twice.

The on-screen bar appears on the TV.

2Press Cursor 3/2 to move to the icon you want to use, then press ENTER.

The pop-up window appears under the on-screen bar.

• The current setting appears in the pop-up window.

3 Press Cursor ∞/5 to select the desired option.

Each time you press the button, the options change.

4 Press ENTER.

The setting changes and the pop-up window goes off.

To turn off the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

Changing the time information

You can change the time information in the on-screen bar and the display window on the center unit.

1 Press ON SCREEN twice.

2Press Cursor 3/2 to move to TIME in the on-screen bar.

Each time you press the button, the time information changes as follows.

•TIME: Elapsed playing time of the current chapter/ track

•REM: Remaining time of the current chapter/track

•TOTAL: Elapsed time of the disc

•T. REM: Remaining time of the disc

To turn off the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

NOTES:

•The time indication in the on-screen bar changes as follows. EX.:

] TIME 0:25:58 ] REM 0:18:14 ] TOTAL 1:25:58

] T.REM 0:45:41 ] (back to the beginning)

•While playing a Video CD, SVCD, or Audio CD, the indication of the hour digit does not appear.
