Pink Mary Cocktail
Makes 2 glasses
1 cup/250ml tomato juice
½ cup/125ml cranberry juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2-3 drops Tabasco sauce
½ cup small ice cubes
Celery tops, for serving
Salt and pepper, if desired
1. Pla ce juices, sauces a nd ice into
the blender jug, s eason to taste
and process usin g HIGH Speed for
30-40 seco nds.
2. Se rve immediately in 2 c hilled glasse s,
garnish with cel ery tops.
Strawberry Sorbet
Makes 2 cups
½ cup/125ml water
¼ cup/60ml apple juice
¼ cup sugar
2 cups frozen strawberries, frozen
without liquid
1. Pla ce all ingredients i nto the blender
jug and process on HI GH Speed for 30
-40 seconds unt il berries are pureed
and mixture is sm ooth.
2. Sp oon puree into a plastic c ontainer,
cover and place in the fre ezer for
several hours or until fi rm.
Frozen Peach Yoghurt
Makes : 2 cups
¾ cup/200ml low fat yoghurt
1⁄2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup drained peach slices, frozen
1. Pla ce all ingredients i nto the blender
jug and process on HI GH Speed, until
smooth, about 30 se conds.
2. Sp oon into a plastic contai ner, cover
and place in the freezer fo r several
hours or until firm.
NOTE: When proces sing drinks
or smoothies the Pu lse setting
can also be used.
