Electronic programme guide and applications
In this chapter, you learn how to select both TV and radio programmes using your receiver, how to adjust the volume and how to programme the timer functions.
In describing the functions, it is assumed that the receiver has already been properly connected up by the specialist.
Should you want to undertake the connections yourself, please read the section: “Connecting up and putting into operation“ beforehand.
Switching the unit on
•Press the mains switch (1) on the front of the unit.

If you switch on the receiver from standby with the

On switching on with the 
standby key on the remote control, the last TV programme slot that was selected is always tuned in.
If the receiver was switched off via the mains switch, the time setting is lost. On switching on the time shows 1:00 (= Offset). After approximately 10 seconds the time is updated automatically.
Switching the Navigator on
•Press the 
key on the remote control.
On the screen, the receiver shows the Navigator‘s first page:
