Multilingual programmes
Certain TV programmes are broadcast in a number of diff erent languages. In the
case of a film, both the original sound and the English tra nslation, for example, may
be broadcast.
• You can switch between the var ious languages by pressing the key on the
remote control.
Muting the sound
• Press the ke y on the remote control. The sound is turned off, allowing you
to telephone in peace, for example. The indication “:“ ap pears on the receiver‘s
LED display.
• Pressing the ke y again turns the sound back on.
• Programme changeover or vo lume adjustment turns the sound back on.
Switchover between two TV programmes
With a TV programme currently running, the k ey allows you to switch back to
the TV programme previously selected. With this ke y you can therefore switch
between the two most recently selected TV programmes.
In the same way, you can also switch between two radio program mes.
Sort programmes
TV and radio programmes can be sorted to suit your requirem ents. The
programmes will be displayed on the screen in this order. The programmes are
sorted by shifting the entries in the “TV list“ or “Radio list“. To do this proceed as
follows:
• Press the key.
• In the main menu, select the “Ins tallation“ menu entry using the key and
confirm the selection with .
The “Installation“ menu is displayed on the screen (see “In itial settings“ chapter).
• Using the key select the second menu entry “Pro gramme Organisation“
and confirm the selection with .
The “Programme Organisation“ menu is displayed on th e screen.
• Using the key select menu entry “TV list“ or “Radio list“ and confirm the
selection with .
The TV list or radio list is displayed on the screen with the present order of
programmes.
