INITIAL START UP

When the Power-Mate_ is first started, the fol-

lowing light sequences occurs in a two sec- ond time frame:

1, All three reds come one

2.Two reds are one

3.One red is on.

4.One green is on and will remain on until the Power-Mate_ nozzle is placed in use. NOTE: If the nozzle is on a surface that has

dirt on it, dirt will be picked up by the vacuum and one or more red Iights might stay on.

IN OPERATION

When the Power-Mates is being moved back and forth on the floor, the lights will change from one configuration to another as more dirt or less dirt is being vacuumed. As long as one or more red lights are on, dirt is passing through the wand to indicate that the surface still needs cleaning,

When the green tight stays on as the Power- Mate® is moved back and forth over an area, the sensor is not seeing enough dirt to war- rant further cleaning of that area,

NOTE: Dirt sensor tights DO NOT function in the FLOOR setting.

CLEANING LENS

Although the dirt sensor feature in your Kenmore Power-Mate® is designed for years of trouble free use, the passage of dirt through the air passage system can coat the lens causing the green light to come on and stay on - never switching to red. When this hap- pens the lens must be cleaned.

NOTE: Looking down inside the swivel you will see a ring° The sensor elements are located just slightly below this ring°

3.Reinstall the wands after cleaning the sen- sors.

CAUTION

The residue of the water or cleaners will accelerate the recoating of the lenses and make cleaning necessary

sooner.

One of the defining characteristics of the Kenmore 116.22813 and 116.22812 is their powerful motor, which provides robust suction capabilities. The dual-motor system enhances performance on both carpets and hard floors, allowing users to easily transition between different surfaces without sacrificing cleaning efficiency. This feature is especially important for homes with mixed flooring, ensuring that dirt and debris are effectively removed.

Another key feature is the included HEPA filtration system. This advanced technology captures 99.97% of dust and allergens, making these models ideal for allergy sufferers. This focus on air quality makes the Kenmore 116.22813 and 116.22812 standout options for health-conscious consumers.

In terms of usability, both models come equipped with an array of attachments and tools designed to enhance versatility. The upholstery tool, crevice tool, and dusting brush make it easy to clean various surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, their long power cords increase the cleaning radius, reducing the need to frequently change outlets.

The design of these vacuums also emphasizes user comfort. The lightweight build and ergonomic handle make maneuvering easier, while the smooth-gliding wheels ensure effortless movement across floors. Additionally, their bagged system holds more dirt compared to bagless counterparts, resulting in less frequent emptying and maintenance.

Another noteworthy aspect is their whisper-quiet technology, which allows for cleaning without disturbing others in the home. This feature is particularly beneficial for families with young children or sensitive pets.
