Disconnect electrical supply before servicing or cleaning the unit. Failure to do so could result in elec- trical shock or personal injury from cleaner suddenly starting.
If the cleaner does not seem to have ade- quate suction, first check if the dust bin is furl or if a filter is clogged. See DUST BIN CLEANING and FILTER CHANGING.

If the dust bin and filter areas and the hose
areas are free of clogs, check the nozzle area. To check this area, see the section on
BELT CHANGING AND AGITATOR CLEAN- ING.
Return the cleaner to the upright position before plugging into an electrical outlet.
