Press to start recording CD-DA and VIDEO CD (with PBC OFF) onto a tape with one-touch operation. Pressing this key during CD-DA and VIDEO CD (with PBC OFF) playback records only the track being played onto tape. Pressing it during CD-DA and VIDEO CD (with PBC OFF) stop records all tracks onto tape.

After pressing the menu key to select the menu select mode, turn the volume/multi control knob to select the desired menu item.

Standby mode

While the standby indicator is lit, a small amount of power in supplied to the system to back up the memory. This is called standby mode. Under the condition, the system can be turned ON by the remote control unit.
