Bluetooth Setup

Preparation : KDC-U4549SD/ KDC-U4549: Only with the optional accessory KCA-BT300 or KCA- BT200 connected.

Easy Pairing function

• KDC-U549BT only.

1Press and holdto enter easy pairing mode

“PAIRING” is displayed.

■Any of the following is displayed depending on cell-phone registration condition:

–“SEARCHING”: When registering a cell- phone for the first time.

–“(cell-phone name)”: When a cell-phone has already been registered.

–“DEVICE FULL”: When maximum of five cell-phones have already been registered.

When registering a cell-phone for the first time, registering a cell-phone

2“SEARCHING” is displayed. Search for the Bluetooth device.

When search is completed, “FINISHED” is displayed.

3Turn the volume knob to select a cell- phone name, press to confirm.

4Input the PIN code

■Turn the volume knob to select the number.

■To move to the next digit, press ¢.

■To delete the last digit, press 4.

5Press the volume knob to transmit the PIN code.

If “PAIRING OK” is displayed, registration is completed.

When “CONFIRM PHONE” is displayed, confirm connection with a cell-phone operation.

6The receiver is connected to a cell-phone, with “HF CONNECT” displayed, and exits the easy pairing mode.

■If an error code is displayed during paring, see <Troubleshooting> (page 34).

When a cell-phone has already been registered, or maximum of five cell-phones have already been registered/ selecting a cell-phone

2“(cell-phone name)” or “DEVICE FULL” is displayed.

3Turn the volume knob to select a cell- phone name.

■To register a new cell-phone, select “[DVC SEARCH]”, then go to “When registering a cell-phone for the first time.”

4Press the volume knob to set up the cell-phone.

■“✱(cell-phone name)”: The selected Bluetooth device is busy.

■“-(cell-phone name)”: The selected Bluetooth device is on standby.

■“ (cell-phone name)“: The Bluetooth device is deselected.

■If a cell-phone is already selected, deselect it, and then select a different one.

5Pressto exit easy pairing mode.

Deleting the registered cell-phone

2“(cell-phone name)” or “DEVICE FULL” is displayed.

3Turn the volume knob to select a cell- phone name.

4Press and hold the volume knob to delete the selected cell-phone.

“DELETE” is displayed.

5Turn the volume knob to select “YES”, then press to confirm.

“COMPLETED” is displayed.
