PLACING A DISPATCH CALL

1Press and hold the PTT switch.

2If the ìProceedî tone sounds, communication is possible; speak into the microphone to make your call. Release the PTT switch to receive.

ïFor best sound quality at the receiving station, hold the microphone approximately 1.5 inches (3 ~ 4 cm) from your mouth.

ïYour dealer can deactivate the Proceed tone, if necessary. Ask your dealer for details.

RECEIVING A DISPATCH CALL

1When a dispatch call is received, the transceiver will automatically change to the correct group ID and you will hear the call.

ïIf enabled by your dealer, the indicator appears on the display.

2Readjust the volume as necessary.
