Preparing for surround sound

6Input the distance to the speakers.

Indicators appear only for the channels of the speakers selected in step 3.

1Press the /keys or MULTI @/# keys to select the SP

DISTANCE on setup displays and press the SETUP key again.

2Measure the distance from the listening position to each of the speakers.

Jot down the distance to each of the speakers.

3Use the /keys or MULTI @/# keys to select the speakers and the MULTI CONTROL knob or MULTI %/keys to adjust the distance to the Front Speakers.

The speaker indicator to be adjusted blinks.

8Select the display mode.

The allowable setting range is 1 to 30 feet (0.3 to 9.0 m), adjustable in 1 foot (0.3 m) increments.

4Repeat steps 3 to input the distance for each of the speakers.

5Press the SETUP key again to return to main setup displays.

The speakers you have selected should appear on the display. Confirm that all the speakers have been correctly selected.

7Adjust the LFE LEVEL (Low Frequency Effects).

1Press the /keys or MULTI @/#keys to select the LFE

LEVEL.

2Use the MULTI CONTROL knob or MULTI %/keys to adjust the LFE LEVEL.
