Simple Syrup
1cup sugar
1cup water
Combine sugar and water. Boil until sugar dissolves,
about 2 to 4 minutes. Cool, cover and refrigerate.
Yield: About 11⁄2cups.
2cups cranberry juice
cocktail
1cup orange juice
3⁄4cup vodka
2tablespoons lime
juice
2cups small ice cubes
Place ingredients in blender jar. Cover and blend at
CHOP, pulsing 3 to 4 times, about 10 seconds each
time, until slushy.
Yield: 5 (3⁄4cup) servings.

Cranberry Frosty3⁄4cup tequila
1⁄2cup triple sec liqueur
1⁄2cup lime juice
1⁄4cup simple syrup or
11⁄2tablespoons sugar
4cups small ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender jar. Cover and blend
at CHOP, pulsing 5 to 6 times, about 10 seconds
each time, until slushy.
Yield: 6 (3⁄4cup) servings.

Margarita3⁄4cup rum
1⁄4cup lime juice
1⁄4cup simple syrup or
2 tablespoons sugar
3cups small ice cubes
Place ingredients in blender jar. Cover and blend at
CHOP, pulsing 4 to 5 times, about 10 seconds each
time, until slushy. Scrape sides of blender jar, if
necessary.
Yield: 4 (3⁄4cup) servings.
Variations: Add 2 bananas, 2 cups fresh or frozen
strawberries, or 4 medium peaches to above
ingredients.
