Putting Yourself in the Video

The Self Timer creates a 10-second delay between the time you press the Shutter button and the time video recording begins.

1In Video mode , press the Menu button.

2Press to highlight the Self Timer icon , then press the OK button.

3Highlight On, then press the OK button.

4Highlight an option, then press the OK button:

Maximum—records until you stop recording or until storage is full. (The maximum recording time is 30 seconds.)

Seconds—records for the specified time or until storage is full.

The Self Timer icon appears in the status area.

NOTE: If the current storage location does not have adequate space, some video length options are not displayed. (See page 99 for storage capacities.)

5Place the camera on a flat surface or use a tripod.
