Setting Video Out

Video Out is a regional setting that lets you connect your camera to a television or other external device (see page 48).

1Press the Menu button.

2Press Selecting a Language to highlight Setup Menu Manual background , then press the OK button.

3Highlight the Video Out icon Manual background , then press the OK button.

4Highlight an option, then press the OK button:

NTSC (default)—used in most countries except those in Europe and China. North America and Japan use NTSC.

PAL—used in Europe and China.

5Press the Menu button to exit the menu. This setting remains until you change it.

Selecting a Language

You can display menus and screen messages in different languages.

1Press the Menu button.

2Press Manual background to highlight Setup Menu Manual background , then press the OK button.

3Highlight the Language icon Manual background, then press the OK button.

4Highlight an option, then press the OK button.

5Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

Text is displayed in the selected language. This setting remains until you change it.
