To connect the AC adapter to the camera, perform the following steps:

1.Insert the AC adapter into the AC adapter connection on the side of your camera.

2.Connect the other end of the adapter to a wall outlet.

3.Turn on the camera.

NOTE: The battery icon does not appear on the status display when an AC adapter is used.

Clean the outside of the camera by wiping it with a clean, dry cloth. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners or organic solvents on the camera or any of its parts.

To clean the camera lens and liquid crystal display (LCD) screen, perform the following

1.Blow gently on the lens or LCD screen to remove dust and dirt.

2.Moisten the lens or LCD screen by breathing lightly on it.

3.Wipe the lens or LCD screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth or an untreated lens- cleaning tissue.
