Collegamento della fotocamera al computer

Per collegare la fotocamera al computer viene utilizzato un cavo IEEE 1394, che consente di trasferire rapidamente le immagini dalla fotocamera al computer. Durante le operazioni di connessione e disconnessione,

èpossibile lasciare la fotocamera e il computer accesi.

Ènecessario utilizzare un connettore e una scheda IEEE 1394.

1.Collegare il caricabatterie/adattatore CA KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS Pro 14n oppure caricare e inserire la batteria KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS Pro 14n.

NOTA: sebbene l'uso della batteria sia consentito, si raccomanda di utilizzare il caricabatterie/adattatore per evitare eventuali perdite di dati nel caso la batteria si scaricasse.

2.Installare il software KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS Host per computer Macintosh o basati su Windows, se necessario.

3.Collegare l'estremità a 4 pin del cavo IEEE 1394 alla relativa porta della fotocamera.

4. Collegare l'estremità a 6 pin del cavo a qualsiasi porta disponibile sulla scheda IEEE 1394 del computer.

ATTENZIONE:

Quando si collega il cavo IEEE 1394 al computer, verificare che l'orientamento del connettore sia corretto.

Un collegamento errato può causare danni alla fotocamera o al computer. Sul lato computer del collegamento, il punto sul connettore a 6 pin deve essere allineato al punto della porta del computer.

NOTA: la scheda può contenere più porte.

Èpossibile collegare più fotocamere o altre periferiche IEEE 1394 alla scheda purché si eviti una configurazione ad anello. Nel disegno è raffigurata una configurazione accettabile.

La porta IEEE 1394 della fotocamera non supporta un secondo connettore passante ed è destinata ad essere l'ultima periferica della "catena".

Ora è possibile accedere alla fotocamera dal computer. Consultare la Guida del software DCS Host contenuta nel CD di DCS Host Software in dotazione con la fotocamera.
