Display LCD

Liquid Crystal Display (display a cristalli liquidi). La fotocamera ne contiene

 

quattro: il display LCD di stato superiore, il display LCD di stato posteriore,

 

il display LCD delle immagini e il display LCD all'interno del mirino.

Distanza focale

La distanza tra il punto principale e il fuoco. Nelle fotocamere in formato

 

35 mm, gli obiettivi con distanza focale di circa 50 mm sono detti obiettivi

 

normali o standard. Gli obiettivi con una distanza focale inferiore a circa

 

35 mm sono detti grandangolari, mentre quelli con una distanza focale

 

superiore a circa 85 mm sono detti teleobiettivi. Gli obiettivi che

 

consentono di variare la distanza focale in modo continuo senza

 

modificare la messa a fuoco sono detti zoom.

EV

(Valore di esposizione) Un numero che rappresenta le combinazioni

 

disponibili di velocità di apertura del diaframma e diaframmi che

 

producono lo stesso effetto di esposizione in condizioni analoghe di

 

luminosità della scena e ISO.

 

A ISO 100, la combinazione di una velocità di apertura del diaframma

 

di un secondo e di un diaframma di f/1.4 è definita EV1.

 

La fotocamera può essere utilizzata solo entro l'intervallo di EV

 

dell'esposimetro. Ad esempio, l'intervallo di misurazione dell'esposizione

 

è compreso tra EV0 e EV20 per l'esposimetro a matrice di colori 3D

 

e a preferenza di misurazione centrata, a ISO 100 con un obiettivo f/1.4.

Flash manuale

In modalità flash manuale, il livello di emissione del flash viene controllato

 

manualmente. In modalità flash automatico, invece, il flash varia

 

automaticamente a seconda dell'apertura selezionata. Alcune unità flash,

 

compresi i NIKON SB-28, SB-27, SB-26, SB-25, SB-24 e SB-20, consentono

 

di regolare manualmente l'intensità (massima, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 e così

 

via), mentre altri forniscono solo l'emissione manuale completa.

Funzione di ricerca per la messa a fuoco

Consente alla fotocamera di analizzare la velocità del soggetto in movimento in base ai dati di messa a fuoco rilevati e di ottenere la corretta messa

a fuoco prevedendo la posizione del soggetto (e portando l'obiettivo in tale posizione) nel momento esatto dell'esposizione.
