Formattazione di schede Se la formattazione non è stata eseguita correttamente o i dati contenuti nella scheda si sono danneggiati, può essere necessario formattare una scheda. Se la scheda è stata utilizzata per molte sessioni, ad esempio 25-30 volte circa, è possibile formattarla sulla fotocamera per utilizzare tutto lo spazio disponibile sulla scheda. L'eliminazione di immagini non consente di recuperare tutto lo spazio della scheda.

Èpossibile formattare una scheda in due modi:

Formattazione veloce—Rimuove la struttura delle directory ma non cancella i dati. Questo tipo di formattazione non richiede molto tempo. Non è esclusa la possibilità di recuperare i file dopo una formattazione veloce se non sono stati sovrascritti.

Formattazione completa—Cancella tutte le informazioni e "ripulisce" la scheda. Questo tipo di formattazione richiede un tempo più lungo. Dopo una formattazione completa non è possibile recuperare i file. NOTA: le schede vengono formattate in formato PC DOS.
