Bilanciamento del bianco Consente di effettuare le opportune regolazioni in base al tipo di illuminazione utilizzato per acquisire un'immagine.

Blocco AE

(esposizione automatica)

Viene utilizzato per mantenere una velocità di apertura del diaframma e/o un'apertura controllata automaticamente. È consigliato quando il fotografo desidera controllare un'esposizione in base alla particolare area di luminosità di una scena con misurazione spot o centrata.

Controllo dell'esposizione Automatica programmata: la velocità di apertura del diaframma

e l'apertura dell'obiettivo per un'esposizione corretta vengono impostate automaticamente dalla fotocamera.

Priorità tempi AE: la velocità di apertura del diaframma viene selezionata dall'utente, mentre la corrispondente apertura dell'obiettivo per l'esposizione corretta viene impostata automaticamente.

Priorità di diaframmi AE: il diaframma viene selezionato dall'utente, mentre la corrispondente velocità di apertura del diaframma per l'esposizione corretta viene impostata automaticamente.

Manuale: la velocità di apertura del diaframma e il diaframma vengono selezionati dall'utente, seguendo o ignorando le indicazioni dell'esposimetro per ottenere l'esposizione desiderata.

Correzione dell'esposizione La correzione dell'esposizione in base alla luce disponibile viene attivata modificando la velocità di apertura del diaframma e/o l'apertura dell'obiettivo. Questa operazione viene effettuata utilizzando il pulsante di blocco esposizione/messa a fuoco automatica (AE-L/AF-L) o il pulsante per la correzione dell'esposizione oppure mediante il gruppo di esposizioni automatiche.

Nelle applicazioni fotografiche con flash con unità flash TTL dedicata NIKON, la correzione dell'esposizione può essere effettuata anche regolando il flash.

La correzione dell'esposizione generata dalla fotocamera influenza sia il soggetto in primo piano sia lo sfondo; le variazioni di intensità del flash incidono solo sugli oggetti in primo piano.
