Running Diagnostics
If you are having problems with your DVC323 camera, run the diagnostic
software to determine if there is a Kodak driver problem.
1Close all applications that may be running on your computer.
2Click on the Start button on your computer taskbar.
3Click on Programs.
4Click on KODAK DVC323.
5Click on DVC323 Diagnostic.
6Wait until the diagnostic software finishes and displays one of the following
two symbols:
Green smiling face—the diagnostics ran successfully and did not find any
errors.
Frowning face and an error code—refer to the following table for a
possible solution to the problem:

-1 Camera Open
Failure The camera is not
connected. Check the camera connection to
the USB port on your computer.
The camera driver is not
installed. Unplug the camera and re-install
the DVC323 software.
The USB driver is not
installed. Unplug the camera and re-install
the DVC323 software.
A USB hardware
malfunction occurred. Contact your computer vendor for
help.
