Original Factory Settings - CameraUsing Your Batteries

For acceptable battery life, and to make sure your camera operates
dependably, we do not recommend or support alkaline batteries.
mIf the battery contacts touch metal objects, the battery may short-circuit,
discharge energy, become hot, or leak.
mNot all batteries are created equal. B attery life depen ds significantly on age,
usage conditions, ty pe, brand, and ca mera. Digital camera requirements
are very demanding o n batteries. Not a ll batteries perfo rm well under the se
challenging conditions. In Kodak lab tests, Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
