5Installing the Software

Make sure that you i nstall the software fr om the KODAK Pictu re Software CD

before you transfer p ictures from your ca mera to the comput er.

MACINTOSH OS X Notice

Do not install KODAK Camera Connection Software or KODAK

Picture Transfer Software. OS X ships with an ima ge capture appl ication

that provides the functionality of both applications. These two applications are

unnecessary and will n ot function if install ed on OS X. The OS X im age capture

application launches when the camera is connected with the USB cable or the

KODAK EASYSHARE Ca mera Dock.

You may wish to install KODAK Picture Software for picture viewing,

editing, and sharing. Picture Software i nstalls and runs w ith OS X in Classic

mode.
