File Naming Conventions After a Copy

Your camera maintains s eparate numbering seq uences for the pic tures in the
internal memory and f or the pictures o n the MMC/SD card . When you copy a
picture, it is renumb ered sequentially i n the new location .
For example, in the Before Copy list below, the two pictures in the internal
memory are copied to the MMC/SD card. After Copy, the copied pictures are
renumbered on the MMC/SD card as DCP_0004 and DCP_0005. Additionally,
if DCP_0005 is deleted, the next picture copied to the MMC/SD card is named
DCP_0006. In the inte rnal memory, the origin al pictures and the ir numbers
are unchanged.
