5.4.1 Setting the MACHINE #
The MACHINE # determines the position of a VS-66FW unit, specifying which VS-66FW unit is being controlled when several VS-66FW units connect to a PC or serial controller. Set the MACHINE # on a VS-66FW unit via DIPS 1, 2, 3 and 4, according to Table 4. When using a stand-alone VS-66FW unit, set the MACHINE # to 1. When connecting more than one VS-66FW unit, set the first machine that is closest to the PC, as MACHINE # 1.Table 4: Machine # Dipswitch Settings
