Charging the battery

You must have at least a partial charge in the battery to make or receive calls. When charging your Kyocera KX12 phone, you must insert the battery charger plug correctly or the phone can be damaged. Improperly inserting the plug can damage the small receptor inside the charger jack.

To charge the battery:

1.Open the port plug.

2.Hold the phone with the

keypad facing up. Hold the charger plug with the arrow side pointing up.

3.Insert the charger plug ensuring that it is aligned

directly with the phone's charging jack.

4.Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not bend or rotate the plug, or try to force the plug into the charger jack. After charging, remove the plug by pulling it straight out.
