Getting to know your phone

The phone is shown here in open position. You must slide your phone open to use the keys on the lower portion of the phone. When the phone is closed, the keys are locked to prevent accidental key presses.

1 Home screen.

2 Left softkey accesses menus and functions.

3 Send/Talk key starts or answers a call. Press once to activate voice dialing, twice to display the Recent Calls list, and three times to redial the last number dialed.

4 Speakerphone key activates the speakerphone and answers

 

incoming calls.

Keypad for entering numbers, letters, or symbols.

Shift * key changes the text mode in text entry.

Jack for AC adapter (included) and data cable.

External camera key activates Camera mode. To activate

 

 

Camera mode, press and hold until you hear two beeps. Press

 

 

and hold again for Video mode.

Navigation key scrolls through lists and text entry fields and

 

 

accesses shortcuts from the home screen.

 

10OK key selects a menu item or option. Press and hold to launch Music Player.

Right softkey accesses the Messages menu.

End/Power key turns the phone on and off, ends a call, Music Player, or browser session, and

 

returns you to the home screen.

Back key erases characters in text entry and returns you to the previous screen.

Music key launches the Music Player.

Space # key enters a space during text entry. Press and hold to activate or deactivate Silent mode.

0 Next key cycles through word choices during eZi Text entry.
