Power ON & OFF

Keep the ""Power Switch"" in the (ON) position to maintain constant communication. If it is in the (OFF) position, the machine is able neither to receive a document nor store the contents of the document in its memory. Communication is also interrupted if the "Power Switch" is pressed to the (OFF) position during communication.

Turning the Power ON

Press the "Power Switch" to the (ON) position.

When the machine is turned ON, the message "*PLEASE WAIT!*" is displayed in the Message Display. After approximately 25 seconds, the message in the Message Display changes and the unit is ready for operation.
