Clearing Paper Misfeeds

Original Document Jam

When the message "CAUTION PAPER MISFEED" appears in the Message Display, use the following procedures to remove the misfeed.

1 Remove the original documents from the Document Feed Tray.

2 Open the Paper Misfeed Guide and gently remove the paper misfeed.

3 Open the Automatic Document Feeder and gently remove the paper misfeed.
