Chapter 1. Getting to know your computer

￿Attention:

Do NOT open the display panel beyond 130 degrees. When closing the display panel, be careful NOT to leave pens or any other objects in between the display panel and the keyboard. Otherwise, the display panel may be damaged.

OneKey Rescue system button

The built-in antennas ensure optimal reception of wireless communication radio.

The LCD display with LED backlight provides brilliant visual output.

Press this button to open OneKey Rescue system (If OneKey Rescue system has been preinstalled) when the computer is powered off.

Built-in microphone

Ambient light sensor

Press this button to turn on the computer.

The built-in microphone (with noise reduction) can be used for video conferencing, voice narration, or simple audio recordings.

The ambient light sensor detects the environmental illuminance and automatically adjusts the brightness of the LCD backlight.

Note: Ambient light sensor is designed to conserve energy. If you want to set the brightness of the LCD backlight manually, you can disable this feature in Lenovo Energy Management. To disable ambient light sensor, launch Lenovo Energy Management. On the main panel, click and then click Smart Control. Clear the checkbox before ALS Control.
