The printer discards any data received through the parallel port .

•Make sure the Parallel Buffer menu item is not set to Disabled.

Try one or more of the following:

•Touch Continue to clear the message.

The printer discards any data received through the USB port.

•Make sure the USB Buffer menu item is not set to Disabled.

Try one or more of the following:

The printer discards any data received through the USB port.

•Make sure the USB Buffer menu is not set to Disabled.

57 Configuration change, some held jobs were not restored

Something has changed in the printer to invalidate the held jobs. Po ssible changes include:

•The printer firmware has been updated.

•Paper input options needed for the print job were remov ed.

•The print job was created using data from a device in the USB port and the device i s no longer in the USB port.

•The printer hard disk contains print jobs that were stored while i nstalled in a different printer model.

Touch Continue to clear the message.

2Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

3Check if all tray configurations are correct. Remove unnecessary trays if needed.

4Connect the power cord to a properly grounded electrical outlet.
