Blocking junk faxes

If you have Caller ID, you can block faxes sent from specific numbers and/or all faxes which do not include a Caller

ID number.

1From the control panel, press Fax Mode.

2Press .

3If you want to block faxes from specific phone numbers:

aPress or repeatedly until Block Faxes appears.

bPress .

appears next to Turn ON/OFF.

cPress .

dPress or repeatedly until On appears.

ePress .

fPress or repeatedly until Add Number appears.

gPress .

hEnter a phone number.

iPress .

jIf you want to enter a corresponding name, enter it using the keypad buttons.

kPress .

lIf you want to enter additional numbers:

1Press 1 on the keypad.

2Repeat step h through step k.

Note: You can enter up to 50 phone numbers.

mIf you do not want to enter additional numbers, press 0.

4If you want to block all faxes that do not provide a Caller ID number:

aPress or repeatedly until No “ID” Calls appears.

bPress .

cPress or repeatedly until On appears.

dPress to save the setting.

5If you want to print a list of blocked faxes:

aPress or repeatedly until Print List appears.

bPress to print the list.
