Lexmark 7300 Series Received fax has poor print quality

1Remove the print cartridges.

2Make sure the sticker and tape have been removed.

3Reinsert the print cartridges.

Received fax has poor print quality

Ask that the sender:

•Check that the quality of the original document is satisfactory.

•Resend the fax. There may have been a problem with the quality of the telephone line connection.

•Increase the fax scan resolution.

Change the fax quality setting:

1From the control panel, press Fax Mode.

2Press Quality.

3Press or repeatedly to select a higher fax quality.

4Press to save the setting.

Check the ink levels and install a new print cartridge if necessary.

Decrease the transmission speed.

1From the control panel, press Fax Mode.

2Press .

3Press or repeatedly until Send Setup appears.

4Press .

5Press or repeatedly until Max Speed appears.

6Press .

7Press or to select a lower transmission speed.

8Press to save the setting.
