Connecting using a USB cable

USB setup and connection

1Insert the Software and Documentation CD.

2Click Install.

3Click Agree.

4Click Suggested.

5Click Local Attach.

6Connect the installation cable to a USB port on the computer and the USB port on the back of the printer.

7Connect the power cable to the printer and then to a properly grounded electric al outlet, and then turn the printer

on.

8Follow the on-screen i nstructions to complete th e USB configuration.
