Reference: Pillow Speaker Setup
The pillow speaker will only be functional after the Express Script/Custom Master TV Setup and/or cloning procedures are complete.
Note: When Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE is set to 254 (factory default value), there is no power (voltage) supplied to the pillow speaker.
Connect the pillow speaker (see example at right) to the PILLOW SPEAKER interface on the rear jack panel of the TV.
Caution: Use a pillow speaker that is a UL recognizedpendant control bearing the warning: “Risk of fire if used in oxygen enriched atmosphere. Keep pendant control away from oxygen equipment.”
