Battery-Saving Tips

Manage the Display Brightness and Screen

Timeout

• Press > and tap Settings > Display >

Brightness to modify the backlight setting

as desired.

• To turn off the screen, press the Power button.

The device will continue to function.

Manage Your Device’s Wireless Functions

Disable the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS functions

of the device when you’re not using them.

• Press > and tap Settings > Wireless &

networks and disable any of these functions

that are not in use.

• Press > and tap Settings > Location

& security and disable any My Location options

that are not in use.

• Add a Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi widget to your
