PressingtheInputbuttoncyclesthroughthevariousaudioinputsources.

Theinputswillalwayscycleinthesameorder,asshownbelow.

With2-positionSwitchin‘6Ch.Direct’Mode:

•Direct:inputstreamfromtheanaloginputs

•Optical:inputstreamfromtheopticalinput

•Coax:inputstreamfromthecoaxinput

Cyclingthroughtheinputsisalwaysthesameunlessyouhavethe2-positionswitchedtostereo1-3mode.

With2-positionSwitchin‘Stereo1-3’Mode:

•Stereo1:UsetheFrontL/Ranaloginput(limegreen)asastereoinput

•Stereo2:UsetheRearL/Ranaloginput(black)asastereoinput

•Stereo3:UsetheCenter/Subanaloginput(orange)asastereoinput

•Optical:inputstreamfromtheopticalinput

•Coax:inputstreamfromthecoaxinput

Whenevertheinputorbitstreamchanges,thepreviouslyselectedeffectwillbeautomaticallyre-selected.Forexample,if youselectStereox2whilelisteningtothe6ch.Directinput,‘Stereox2’willbestoredinmemoryforthe‘Direct’Input.The nexttimeyouselecttheDirectinput,Stereox2willbeautomaticallyselectedastheeffect.

WhenreturningfromStandby,thepreviouslyselectedinputandeffectwillbeshownonthecontrolpod.

Effects

Theeffectbuttonisusedtoselectthetypeofsurroundsoundoraudiotechnologyyouwanttousewithaparticular input.Inmanycases,thecontrolpodwillrecognizewhataudiotechnologyisstreamingfromyouraudiodevice,andwill automaticallyselectit.

Forexample,ifyouarewatchingaDVDandhaveselectedtheDolby®Digital5.1streamontheDVD,thenwhenyouselect theDVDaudioinput,Dolby®Digitalwillautomaticallybetheselectedeffect.Thecontrolpodwilldefaulttothelasteffect usedbywhateverinputsourceyouareusing.

Youcanusethe‘effect’buttontoselectadifferentaudiotechnologyifyouwishtochangeit.Notethatnotalleffectsare availableforallinputs(refertothetable):
