UPS with Bypass Module Startup

￿o start up the ￿￿￿:

￿￿ake sure the Bypass switch on the Bypass ￿odule rear panel is in the

￿￿￿￿A￿ position (see ￿igure￿5 on page 26 or ￿igure￿6 on page 27).

￿￿f your Bypass ￿odule is a hardwired unit, supply utility power.

￿￿f your Bypass ￿odule is a plug/receptacle unit, plug the input power cord into the utility input connector on the Bypass ￿odule rear panel.

￿lug the other end of the power cord into a grounded, three2wire, AC receptacle that has been wired in accordance with ￿￿C specifications or national wiring rules. (￿ee ￿igure￿11 for an example.)

iNOTE Steps 4 through 7 are for changing the output voltage. The output voltage is factory&configured for 230V. If you do not need to change the output voltage, skip to Step￿8. Use the following table to select the correct output voltage according to your Bypass Module.
