An overview of the functioning and specifications of the DEFINITY® Extender
The DEFINITY®Extender enables DEFINITY telephone users to be a fully functional part of the PBX telephone system with a digital telephone located any distance off-premise. The Extender is transparent to the user and retains access to the features and functions of the DEFINITY Enterprise Communications Server (ECS). In addition, an RS-232 data port extension is incorporated, allowing the user to connect off-premise RS-232 equipment to equipment at the PBX location.
