Press ▲ or ▼ to select the TV Rating level at
which you want to block viewing, then press
4 ENTER once. If you press ENTER again, the subrat-
ings for that category will appear.
Details are on pages 44-45.
When you select the rating category and set it to
BLOCK, the higher ratings will turn to BLOCK auto-
matically. Lower ratings will turn to VIEW.
When you set “TV-Y” to VIEW (or BLOCK), all rat-
ings will turn to VIEW (or BLOCK) automatically.

Helpful Hints

•If you want to disable V-Chip so you can view all TV programming, set TV-Y to VIEW.

•The V-CHIP settings will be retained after a power failure (except the access code reverts to 0000).
