TV SOUND MENU CONTROLS
To adjust your LCD T V Sound,
select a channel an d follow t hese steps .
Press the MENU but ton to see the menu.
Press the (CH-) but ton to highlight the
AUDIO menu.
Press the (VOL+) button to en ter the AUDIO
menu.
Press the (CH+) or (CH -) button to
choose the item you want t o adjust: Smart Sound ,
Treble, Bass or Balance.
Smart Sound: Pl ease refer to page 22 for det ails
on Smart Sound Set tings.
Settings: Allow s you to adjust Treble, Bass, and
Balance of the sound.
Stereo: Adjust to sel ect between Stereo, Mon o,
or SAP.
Virtual Surrou nd: Adds greater depth and
dimension to TV soun d. Select from Virtual
Surround or OFF.
AVL (Auto Volume Leveler): When On, AVL wi ll
level out the sound being he ard when
sudden changes in volume o ccur during
commercial breaks or c hannel changes.
Press the (VOL+) or (VOL-) butto n to
adjust the item.
Press the (CH+) or (CH -) button to
select and adjust othe r sound controls.
Press MENU to remove the m enu.

• Treble and Bass can only be acces sed when
Smar t Sound is set to Personal.
• If Stereo is not prese nted on a selected show
and the T V is placed in Stereo mode, the
sound comin g from TV will remain in Mono
mode.
• In case the sound from a VCR , DVD or other
exter nal AV device is poor, activate AVL [yes]
and put th e smart sound settings in person al
mode and op timize the sound by changing the
treble a nd bass settings.
