Putting Batteries in the Remote Control
| Remove the battery compartment lid on the bot- |
| tom of the remote control by sliding the lid down and |
1 off, following the direction of the arrow on the lid. | |
2 | Place two AA batteries inside the battery com- |

| partment with their + and – ends aligned as indicated. |
3 Replace the battery compartment lid. | |
Battery Safety
Battery Usage CAUTION - To prevent battery leakage that may result in bodily injury, property damage, or damage to the unit:
●Install ALL batteries correctly, with the + and - markings on the battery aligned as indicated on the unit;
●Do not mix batteries, for example, old with new or carbon with alkaline; and
●Remove batteries when the unit will not be used for a long time.

Recording Prevention
Videotapes have record tabs to ensure you do not erase recordings accidentally.
1 To prevent accidental recording, break off the tab with a screwdriver. You cannot record on the videotape if the tab is missing.
2 To record again on the same videotape, cover the hole with cellophane tape.
Using the Remote Control
●Point the remote control at the front of the TV/VCR.
●Do not put objects between the remote control and the TV/VCR.
TV/VCR Maintenance
●In this TV/VCR, use only tapes with the 
mark.
●Remove any light adhesive
●The TV/VCR requires periodic maintenance to maintain its excellent performance. This TV/VCR has an internal auto- matic head cleaning system. However, the video heads will eventually require cleaning or replacement. Only an autho- rized service center should perform this service.
