Press two Number buttons for the day
and the month you want the program
to record. For example, for July 10,
1995, press 07, 10. The day of the
week and year will be displayed auto-
matically (you cannot program the
VCR to record more than one year in
advance).

OFF VCR FOR TIMER RECORDING
will appear on-screen (if PROGRAM
NOT COMPLETED appears, try again
from step 1). In three seconds the on-
screen display will disappear. Now, go
to steps 11 and 12.
If you want to program another timer
recording, press the MENU button.
Repeat steps 2 - 10. If you don't want
to program another timer recording, go
to step 12.

Turn off the VCR power. The Timer
light will appear. The VCR must be
turned off for a timer recording to
take place. If you forget to turn the
VCR off, PLEASE TURN OFF VCR
FOR TIMER RECORDING flashes
on your TV screen two minutes before
a timer recording starts. You can
remove it by pressing the CLEAR but-
ton.

may appear and CLASH mayflash
on the screen when you finish set-
ting a timer recording. This means
that the timer recording you just
programmed and another timer
recording overlap, and thus the cur-
rent timer recording will n.otbe car-
ried out.
If the preset time for a timer record-
ing comes up during an OTR, the
OTR has priority.
To stop a started timer recording,
press the STOP/EJECT button on
the VCR.
If the power fails for more than one
minute, programmed timer recordings
may be lost. If this case, repeat the
steps on pages seven and ten before
re-programming the timer recordings.
