Introduction

•Many of the functions covered in this chapter apply to DVD discs, Video CDs, Super Audio CDs and CDs, although the exact operation of some varies slightly with the kind of disc loaded.

•When playing DVD discs, if the icon appears on-screen when you try to use a particular function, either the player or the disc doesn’t allow the use of that function.

Using the Function Menu

1 Press the SET UP button during playback.

2Use the cursor buttons (5/∞) to highlight Function, then press the cursor button (3) or ENTER button.

3The Function selection screen appears, showing Information, Zoom, Bookmark, and Repeat.

4 Use the cursor buttons (5/∞) to highlight one of the 4 functions. Then press the cursor button (3) or ENTER button to access the function.

Note

You can also directly select these functions using their respective buttons on the remote control.
