Borne de Terre
La borne de terre du générateur est connectée au châssis du générateur, aux parties métalliques du générateur ne véhiculant pas le courant et aux bornes de terre de chaque embase. (Voir Fig. 6-2B)
Branchements au système électrique d'un bâtiment
Les branchements pour la puissance de secours du système électrique d'un bâtiment doivent être faits par un élec- tricien qualifié. Le branchement doit isoler la puissance de générateur de la puissance réseau et doit observer toutes les lois et codes électriques applicables.

Interruptor de circuito
El interruptor de circuito (A) se APAGARÁ automáticamente si se produce un corto circuito o una sobrecarga signi- ficativa del generador en el receptáculo. Si el interruptor del circuito se APAGA automáticamente, revise que el apara- to esté funcionando adecuadamente y no exceda la capacidad de carga nominal del circuito antes de ENCENDER el interruptor de circuito de nuevo.(Vea la Fig. 6-2A)

Disjoncteu
Le disjoncteur (A) se met sur ARRÊT automatiquement s'il y a un court-circuit ou une surcharge significative du générateur à l’embase. Si le disjoncteur se met sur ARRÊT automatiquement, vérifiez que l'appareil travaille cor- rectement et ne dépasse pas la capacité de charge nominale du circuit avant toute nouvelle mise en MARCHE du disjoncteur. (Voir Fig. 6-2A)
Connections to a Building’s Electrical System
Connections for standby power to a building’s electrical system must be made by a qualified electrician. The connec- tion must isolate the generator power from utility power, and must comply with all applicable laws and electrical codes.
Ground Terminal
The generator ground terminal (B) is connected to the frame of the generater, the metal non-current carrying parts of the generator, and the ground terminals of each receptacle. (See Fig. 6-2B)
Circuit Breaker
The circuit breaker (A) will automatically switch OFF if there is a short circuit or a significant overload of the genera- E tor at the receptacle. If the circuit breaker is switched OFF automatically, check that the appliance is working proper- N ly and does not exceed the rated load capacity of the circuit before switching the circuit breaker ON again.(See Fig. G 6-2A)
