CONNECTING AN iPod THAT DOESN'T HAVE A DOCKING CONNECTOR

If you own an early model iPod that doesn't have a docking connector or a different brand of MP3 player, you can still connect the sound output to your system via the AUX jack on the rear of this unit as follows:

1. Using a 3.5 mm stereo plug to twin phono cable (not supplied), connect one end of the cable to the headphone jack of the iPod or MP3 player, and the other end to the AUX jacks on the rear of the unit.

2. Press SOURCE or AUX Mode button to select AUX IN mode.

NOTES:

• The volume control of the iPod/MP3 Player must be turned up when playing through the AUX input.

• An iPod without a docking connector cannot be controlled from the buttons on this unit.

• When the iPod is connected, it will be charged. If the DVD player is in the ECO mode, it will not charge.

• When the iPod is connected to this unit, it will be in the Pause mode.
