SETTING THE TOLL SAVERSWITCH

The ring time/toll saverswitch allows you

to set the number of rings the

caller hears beforeyour

answeringsystem plays your

outgoing message.You can set

the switch to answeraf ter two

rings or after four rings. In the

(TollSaver) position, the

answeringsystem picks up af ter

tworings if you have new messages, and after four rings if there are

none. This way,if you call long distance to check your messages, you

can hang up after the second ring to avoid billing charges.

USING THE RESET BUTTON

The

RESET

button is used to

initialize the base computer.

The

RESET

button can be used if an ACpower line disturbance

causes the answering system to malfunction and become

inoperative. Pressing

RESET

does NOT erase anydata stored in

your system memory.
