The wash programme stops and a fault indicator light comes on.
Problem Cause and remedy
The Check drainage
fault indicator light
flashes and a fault num‐
ber appears in the dis‐
play.
The water outlet is blocked.
Clean the drain filter and the drain pump as de‐
scribed in "Problem solving guide – Opening the
drum door in the event of a blocked water outlet
and/or a power failure".
The drain hose has been fixed too high.
The maximum delivery head is 1 m.
The Check inlet fault in‐
dicator light flashes and
a fault number appears
in the display.
The water inlet is blocked.
Open the stopcock.
The filter in the water inlet hose is dirty.
Clean the filter.
The Check inlet and
Check drainage fault in‐
dicator lights flash and
a fault number appears
in the display.
The water protection system has reacted.
Close the stopcock.
Call the Miele Service Department.
The Soak/Pre-wash or
Rinses flash and a fault
number appears in the
display.
There is a fault.
Start the programme again. If the fault indicator
comes on again, call the Miele Service Depart‐
ment.
To switch off the fault indicator: Switch the washing machine off with the button
and turn the programme selector to Finish.
