Warning and Safety instructions

~Only use genuine original Miele accessories with this appliance. Using spare parts or accessories from other manufacturers will invalidate the guarantee, and Miele cannot accept liability.

Correct use

,Caution. The central spout and the steam valve present a danger of burning and scalding.

The liquids and steam dispensed are very hot.

Please note:

–Keep well away from the area underneath the central spout and steam valve when hot liquids and steam are being dispensed.

–Do not touch hot components.

–The spouts can spray hot liquid or steam.

–Water in the drip tray can be very hot. Take care when emptying it.

,Danger of injury.

Do not touch the brew unit when the machine is connected to the electrical supply.

Do not clean the inside of the capsule plate opening.

,Never look directly at the lighting or use optical instruments to look at it.

~Clean the coffee machine and the cappuccinatore (milk frother) thoroughly before using for the first time (See "Cleaning and care").
