Plastic
When purchasing plasticware, be sure it is suitable for use in a microwave.
It must be heat resistant up to 230°F (110°C) otherwise the plastic may melt into the food. Otherwise the plastic may melt.
Special plasticware, designed for use in microwaves is available in retail outlets.

Disposable containers are not always microwave safe.
